Service Team

Leadership

Abode Communities’ resident services team is led by Vice President, Resident Services Roshe Malakuti. She is responsible for developing and managing partnerships with service provider partners; administering Abode Communities’ Beyond Homes Scholarship Program; establishing and guiding the strategic direction of programming; and overseeing resident services coordinators and program leaders.

Prior to joining Abode Communities, Roshe served as director of housing programs for United Friends of the Children where she oversaw daily operations of a fast-paced housing program for Transition Age Youth. She was instrumental in developing three programs for Beyond Shelter, including Housing First, Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), and the Skid Row Families Demonstration Project (SRFDP), all of which provided homeless families with emotional support, guidance, job training, social services, and housing. Her career includes service as a supervising children’s social worker with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services for nearly a decade.

Roshe obtained a Masters in Clinic Psychology from Antioch University and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from University of Southern California.
